Q switched ND yag laser is commonly used to help treat tattoo removal and pigment removal. It produces two wavelengths of light energy (1064nm and 532nm) to treat ink colors. The 532nm wavelength targets brighter colors such as red, yellow, orange and pink while the 1064nm wavelength targets darker colors such as black, green, blue and violet. It is a traditional laser treatment for tattoo removal.
